Equalities in Unite
Unite the Union has a dedicated Equalities structure, which can be seen in the graphic below.
Every region of Unite has a dedicated Equalities Officer, and holds quarterly committee meetings for the following groups:
- BAEM members
- Disabled members
- LGBT+ members
- Women members
- Retired members
- Young members
All BVU members can attend these meetings, which usually occur as hybrid meetings, both in person and via Zoom. To get involved, please contact the Equalities Officer for your region (detailed below).
