If you are a veterinary student, or veterinary nursing student, please select “Unwaged” & then select “Full Time Education”.

There are two steps to follow to join the BVU:

• 1. Join Unite – once completed you will receive a Unite membership number. Join online using this link: https://join.unitetheunion.org/
• 2. Register with the BVU – using the Unite membership number, register your membership with the BVU. To do so, please fill out this online form to notify us of your unite membership (from step 1). Please take note of the job titles below to enter the appropriate one in the BVU form.

It is essential to complete both steps to become a member of the BVU.

After completion of the form, you will be automatically redirected back to the homepage. Please be assured we have received your application form and you will be contacted by email once your application has been processed.

Please note: Whilst the BVU & Unite’s Regional Officers will always offer advice where possible, please be advised that Unite is unable to offer legal support for any members for the first month after joining or any pre-existing issues.
