Noah, British Veterinary Union Student Representative for Harper & Keele, attended the Careers day at Harper Adams University recently

“I had the opportunity to speak with both veterinary medicine students and veterinary nursing students about the importance of joining the BVU and the many ways in which the BVU can support them as a student and throughout their professional careers.

Here we had meaningful conversations about workplace rights, advocacy, well-being and why they should consider joining the BVU sooner rather than later to ensure they protect themselves, access early support and help shape the future of the veterinary profession!

Alongside the BVU stall, I also delivered a talk to a group of students and clinical staff where I dived further into who the BVU are, and what we can do for you as a student and in your working careers!”

We look forward to meeting more students at other careers fairs throughout the coming year!
