On 18^th  February, BVU Reps Jay & Amelia attended Bristol Vet School careers fair. We had a great day meeting many students across all years of veterinary and veterinary nursing courses.

As part of the event, Jay delivered a talk to students on an introduction to Trade Unions and employment contracts. It was great to see such a high turnout for the talk, and to speak to students afterwards about queries they had around navigating contracts.

Alongside the talk, we also ran a stand throughout the fair. This gave students the chance to chat with us one-to-one, ask questions, and find out how they can get involved with the union during their studies.

As always, if you are a student (either Veterinary or Veterinary Nursing) & wish to become involved in the union, we are always looking for student reps to join us! Find all the info for the student rep role on our website, here and get in touch with us via email!
