What is the CMA Review?
The Competition & Markets Authority (CMA) recently announced that they would launch a review into consumer experiences & business practices in the provision of veterinary services for household pets within the UK. They are keen to hear from both owners & veterinary practitioners/workers on subjects such as the pricing of services, out of hours & emergency vet provisions, the knowledge (or lack of) of whether a practice is independent or part of a chain & also how prescriptions & medications are arranged & sold. The CMA Review was launched in September 2023. You can read more in detail here
How to take part in the Review
You can take part in the survey which will be open for a short while longer here if you have not already.
